What is Speaking of the News?
Speaking of the News, a part of the Pro Speaker You Career Enrichment Center, is a news service dedicated to covering the news about speaking, both public speaking and professional speaking.

How do I search the news releases?
It’s easy to search for news releases about a particular topic. Just specify a word or phrase that identifies the news event that you’re searching for. Easy peasy!
What are "Keepers"?
When you’re searching for news items, you might find more than one news release that meets your requirements. So that you can easily refer back to them later, you can mark all of the news releases as “keepers”, and your own Keepers are listed on the Speaking of the News home page.
Please note that no one else sees your list of keepers (unless they’re looking over your shoulder) – no other visitors, and certainly not the speaker! Your list is private, and it’s yours alone.
Please also note that we accomplish this “magic” through the use of cookies. We don’t use the information in the cookie for any reason other than to keep track of your Keepers. (But if for some reason, you don’t want us to use cookies, we must ask you not to use the Keepers capability.)
